Museum of Primeval Cultures
The museum has two rooms displaying past and present items of the cultures that inhabited these lands. Among the exhibits figure textiles, musical instruments, pottery, silverware, etc.
A photographic series portrays some of the major events of today´s communities.

Austral Museum of Modern Primitives (Naïve Art)
Naïve art expresses purity and innocence at their finest, reflecting an unassailable vision of childhood idyllically recalled. With naïve images time seems to have come to a standstill, they transmit harmony and peace with the most minute attention to detail. This way of making ?art? opens the door to hope and reconciles us with our capacity to wonder.

Seion Chapel
Between 1865 and 1923 thirty-four chapels were built, of which sixteen are still standing. The Seion Chapel, inaugurated on 31st January 1904, is a major cultural heritage site of Chubut province.
The chapel was of great significance for the first Welsh settlers.

Esquel, the city of the sundials
Visitors can opt for a new and original way of exploring the streets of Esquel and see a number of sundials. These were constructed based on different cultures and are part of a cultural and scientific project.
This same project includes a bike trail that symbolically leads riders up to Planet Pluto, with a small-scale representation of the solar system.

Here visitors will learn about the history, culture and endurance of these patriotic Baltic people. It rescues the history of the first Lithuanians who settled in Chubut, first at Sarmiento and then throughout the province.
The exhibits include literary works, paintings, embroideries, and a series of items displayed in the museum?s four rooms, where the owners take visitors on a guided tour. Given its historical and cultural significance and excellence of exhibits, the museum has been declared a site of tourist interest by the national, provincial, and municipal authorities.

The Square
This square stands apart from other squares for its octagonal shape, with a diagonal street starting at each angle, which gives the village a special layout.
It is also the meeting point for artisans, artists, and neighbours from Esquel and Trevelin who every Sunday come to share games and enjoy the sunny afternoons.

Regional Mill Museum
Founded in 1971, this museum currently exhibits over a thousand items which attest to the most flourishing times of the colony.

School No. 18
It was one of the first schools in the Andes, and is a site of historical significance for all the Argentine people as the 1902 Plebiscite was signed here. Currently refurbished as a museum, its interior still keeps the rumour of the first children living in the settlement.

Malacara’s Tomb
An ideal place to recall the story of John Daniel Evans and his beloved horse, Malacara, as narrated by Mrs. Clery Evans, the granddaughter of this famous countryside character.

Bethel Chapel
Constructed in 1910 and restored in 1997. Its austere and simple lines express the settlers? religiousness. Their devotion combined education and religion with a series of rules exercising a certain social control.
